KAsteroid Killer has been around for a long time but it wasn't until the year 2005 the name could be heard for the first time. The early work of Asteroid Killer makes the foundation of what to expect in the future. Melodies, rythms and synthetic sounds is the trademarks and will always dominate the Asteroid Killer sound.

ELLA BLAME - LAST VIEW
Ella Blame, currently living in southern Wisconsin, comes from a family of musicians and was already singing by the age of 3. Every day during her childhood, she heard music almost around the clock - symphonic, operatic, chamber and twelve-tone music, jazz of all styles, R&B, soul, funk, rock and pop. From the age of 6 to 17, Ella took courses in violin and was supposed to become a violin virtuoso. However, at the age of 17 she studied painting, earning a Master-of-Arts degree. Ella has an extremely wide vocal range that covers the entire baritone, tenor and alto ranges, and exceeds the upper limit of the soprano range. With her vocal cords, she can produce sounds that many people consider having been generated by a synthesizer or by post-processing equipment. However, Ella can produce these sounds without using a microphone. Ella is collaborating with several electronic musicians and multi-instrumentalists from around the globe (USA, Canada, Japan, India, and Germany), especially Michael D. Temple and Shinji Imai a.k.a. "mode complex".
ALBA BEAT - The City Shines
http://www.arkade.com/Alba_Beat
http://www.myspace.com/albabeat
I'm Gary Taylor, an Icelandic / English hybrid, based in Birmingham / Reykjavik, I started making music from an early age, inspired by the original music of the time, Punk, New Wave, Metal, Reggae, Electro, Pop, Disco, Funk, playing drums on cardboard boxes and tins writing lyrics and singing with friends in my parents Garage (we all wanted to make a break in to music scene even back then in the late 70's), from there on in I played on whatever Organ, Home keyboard, Piano, i could lay my hands on, always dreaming of Synthesizers and Studios and being rich and famous (Not the case now i may add), over some time i made music with my friends at home on simple old School Yamaha and Casio keyboards (you know the ones with a button for Drums and Fills), we also added taped recordings of cool phrases from Video Films of the day (yes it was the 80's and its called Sampling and Editing now), this was the start of my creative approach to music, i started DJ'ing around this period, Scratching, Mixing up Tapes and general madness on the Turntables which i still involve in my music from time to time. Then came the 90's and i worked and played hard and bought myself my first Home Studio, i worked under the name of Solid Dawn and built up a good back catalogue of ideas and Demos all the time working harder on my DJ live set performances, this is where I really learnt what music was all about, People, Gatherings, inspiration, new technology, attitudes and different approaches to making music, for me yet another perfect building block ; ). When the Millennium crashed in i started teaching myself more and more musical skill, everything about the musical process I could possibly find out about, I also went back to college to learn more about Music Production and Engineering, now the time is right for people to hear my Music and Sounds, with the added confidence and mobility the Internet brings i've started my Alba Beat project up, you see a form of it here and now on Myspace.
So there we have some of my Musical Journeys in a nutshell, there really is so much much more to tell you, that said I'm sorry this Biog didn't last that long or not, I do hope you will enjoy my Musical creations here, and i will stay in touch as often as possible, prepared, Peace for now, Gary, Alba Beat x.
ALBA BEAT "From silence and then..." will be released Autumn 2008.

MACHINE BOY - JAMIE
About Machine Boy ::
Machine Boy have been creating electronic music for a number of years, Machine Boy music has been
used by various tv & production companies including BBC, Chan 4 & 5, Central/Carlton, Chilli Media, Black Diamond & in the USA by the likes of MTV.
Machine Boys albums are now available to buy at ITUNES. The ep called DEPRESSION EP thru Incubator Records Includes the huge lyrical/vocal talent of USA Seattle based poet/artist Lorian Elbert (RIP), giving the Machine Boy sound a whole new dark (surreal) edge.
The story goes on seeing one of Lorians poem books Machine Boy knew these words would work perfectly with his soundscapes. Kind words & airplay from DJ legend/icon John Peel (RIP)...god how much do we miss Johns shows ! ;-( more recently airplay for Machine Boys 'Action Figures' from the likes of top radio one jock Huw Stephens and airplay, positive vibes from BB6music's Tom Robinson plus continued support from Gill Mills TOP podcast iCast and Machine Boy being included in BBC Radio One's TOP unsigned podcast have all helped build the Machine Boy fanbase.
Machine Boy also create animated video's to promote his music, the first being a video for the track 'Depression' and the video instantly picked up airplay on the mighty MTV, more recent animated promo's such as 'Action Figures' have also been given airplay from MTV2 in various programmes such as '120 minutes' etc. Serious airplay from tv, including MTV Real World, Road Rules and various extreme sports programs/films has only made the whole Machine Boy project more mouthwatering.
Machine Boy have also been doing work with producer/writer Ian Wallman (B15 Project) and a song for the 'more sonic adventures...' album has been co-written with Ian, titled 'Despair'. The full album is now available and goes again (as the ep) under the name of 'Machine Boy featuring Lorian Elbert' and has the full title of MORE SONIC ADVENTURES FROM MACHINE BOY FEATURING LORIAN ELBERT.
Machine Boy's latest releases are all now available again from iTunes, incl. the album BUILDING A BETTER BOY plus the ACTION FIGURES single and the very latest single release BUILDING A BETTER BOY.
GIVING FOR THE CALL - I NEVER WANT TO GO
http://www.myspace.com/givingforthecall
More than ten years ago, walking in the school's courtyard with my friend Riccardo, I began to talk about some songs of Heaven 17 : "train of love in motion", "let me go" and "trouble". Riccardo talked to me about Erasure ("sometimes"; "stop"; "drama") and Depeche Mode ("photographic"; "blasphemous rumours" and many more). We had same musical taste, interests (tennis, soccer, science fiction ) and hated the same matters (matematics and physics). One day, during the interval, we decided to create a group, trying to emulate bands like Depeche Mode and Erasure. Unfortunately we did not have suitable instruments, except a BONTEMPI organ (that still have!) and an acoustic guitar: not ideal in order to compose music electronic... Thus we went to buy a cheap KAWAY keyboard and 2 used Roland synthesizers: D50 (marvelous) and JX-8P (a dinosaur, in our opinion). After some months we took a nice GEM S3 Turbo, a KAWAY KC-10 Spectra and an arranger (GEM WK 2). We recorded music into a FOSTEX X-26 multitracker. We had the essential in order to begin. The band assumed various names: I can remember "Emotional detachment", "Style of music" and "Winter's heart" . We had a great enthusiasm: obviously, we dedicated more time to music then to study. We made some concerts for our friends and realised some demo-tapes (gone lost by now ). Unfortunately, as often happens, reality upsets the plans... We chose different University and, after a long pause, we broke in 1998. Some years later, I decided to buy new machines (a microkorg and a KORG Electribe R mkII) to play again. This solo project was only a short parenthesis. When I met again Riccardo, we formed a new band and bought some used synthesizers (NOVATION Nova II, KORG M3, KORG MS2000, WALDORF Micro Q, YAMAHA CS1X), another dear D50 and 2 ROLAND drum machines (MC 303 & D2). With a new name ("Giving For The Call", taken from the language of Stock exchange), in september 2005 we started working on a new musical project. In 2007 we began to change composition method, passing gradually to Vst instruments. Currently we're trying to find the right way between new technologies and tradition of melodic synthpop. --- Written by Maurizio
ALIEN SKIN - SAVIOUR
http://www.myspace.com/alienskinmusik
BIO: George Pappas, a.k.a. Alien Skin, is the long-time keyboardist with legendary ‘80s Australian band Real Life whose Send Me An Angel is still a regular on radio playlists all over the world. After a number of albums and world tours with Real Life, covering the US, Europe and Australia, he has morphed into Alien Skin. As Alien Skin he has released the debut album Don’t Open Till Doomsday in 2008.
"Do you believe in heaven above, Do you believe in love?" sing Real Life in the smash 80's classic Send Me An Angel. Now Alien Skin, aka George Pappas, long time keyboardist with the renowned Australian band, has finally released his debut album. He doesn't attempt to answer the puzzle but creates his own universe in Don't Open Till Doomsday. The 10 songs here present an atmosphere of introspective electronic melancholia. Infectious melodies underpin the dark, gothic ambience which is often sparse and minimal, at times opening up to a lush hit of light that lures you forward. With subject matter ranging from estranged sci-fi love, to Jacob's Ladder, to Hiroshima, the music confirms a solemn monochrome world outside. It's best listened to and savoured as a whole.
Don't Open Till Doomsday is music for astronauts, aliens and all marginal beings living at the frontiers. Friends of Martin Gore and Depeche Mode would not feel unwelcome here. So, what exactly does the album sound like? Close your eyes and have a listen. This body of work further establishes his signature sound of darkly melodic, lyrical songs best befitting the description: "A kaleidoscope of electronic melancholia - music for astronauts, aliens and all marginal beings living at the frontiers."

‘Don’t Open Till Doomsday’ isn't an album that can be listened to once and then put on the shelf. It requires thought, attention and respect until becoming whatever tale the listener has been inspired to believe it means. It's the canvas for a film in somebody's head that they create while listening to it. – Kage Alan, Michigan
For fans of electronic music the release of George Pappas’ debut solo album under the name Alien Skin could not be more welcome. The soundscapes on ‘Don’t Open Till Doomsday’ are wonderfully moody and excellent vocals capture the best of Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore without sounding like a clone. Mid-tempo, ethereal, hypnotic aural goodness which I cannot recommend enough. Brilliant work and it is so good to hear new material from this unique artist! – Paul Fucito, Washington DC
Reading your words, while listening again, is such a great sensation, where time doesn't exist, a perfect moment, of rest, of emotion, rare!. I listen to a lot of music, and I can feel when something is different; the emotion that I'm searching for, I can recognize it and feel it, so clearly, sometimes... – Pain Theatre, France
