My last album (Fracture) is in the same neighbourhood of Gary Numan's work over the last fourteen years i.e. Sacrifice/Exile/Pure and Jagged with a bit of Replicas/Telekon thrown in for good measure. I am a self-confessed Numanoid for about 30 years now. The influence is obvious, but still mine. There just isn't enough music like this being made nowadays. Too much screaming and noise, not enough melody. Since FRACTURE I've been moving in a more electronic direction. For the new album 'Dust' (due out early 2009) I'm still using a mix of real and electronic drums but making the synths even more dominant. Also a dash of crunchy digital noise and nastiness. As if Fracture and Beyond Evil met and did horrible things to each other in a dark room. The type of things that would make it hard for them to make eye contact the next morning. I've always felt that I should have explored the path 'Evil' should have taken me a bit more, and the musical jump to Fracture was extreme. So I see Dust as a possible missing link between my last two albums, but still a progression from them.
SYNTH GROOVE - YOU'RE MY ENERGY
http://www.myspace.com/synthgroove
Synth Groove is a solo studio electronic music artist. "I've always had a passion for synthesizers and electronic music, ever since I first heard Gary Numan's 'Are Friends Electric'." I'm old school, so I don't use computer software, sequencers or even MIDI. For synthesizers I use a Roland Juno-6, Roland Juno 1, Korg Microkorg, Roland Jp-8000, Roland Sh-201, Moog Little Phatty, Korg poly61, and a Korg dw-6000. I also use a Boss Drum Machine and I record on a Yamaha 16-track digital recorder. The debut Synth Groove album 'View From The Green Room' was released in 2006 and the follow-up 'Robots Are People Too' was released in August 2007. Both albums have been getting consistent airplay on internet radio stations such as flashbackalternatives.com, robotrock.com, Electoclash.com and the Robocast podcast shows (robocastradio.co.uk). These are all excellent stations to hear both famiilar and obscure electronic tracks, so do check them out!!
'Welcome To The Human Factory' is the latest release and is NOW AVAILABLE on cdbaby.com and on ITunes.
Synth Groove’s fourth album covers all the electronic music bases and adds some new ones. While the influences of Kraftwerk and Gary Numan can definitely be heard, this loosely based concept album is also heavily influenced by the work of artists such as Peter Murphy, New Order and Ultravox. 'Welcome To The Human Factory’ is a strange, compelling mix of dark synthetic electronics, techno, synthpop and science fiction. Try to imagine watching the 1981 John Carpenter futuristic flick ‘Escape From New York’ while listening to electronic music from the 1980’s. Get the picture? The big drum sound is back and the synthesizers are thicker, richer, and more diverse than on the previous albums. Although the overall mood is a bit darker, there are still plenty of synth hooks, club beats and melodies. In fact, this album has more synth ‘groove‘ in it than ever. Plus, where else can you hear a track about Orbit Twins or one that features laughing gargoyles?

Got involved in music at a pretty early age, chopped up my first bass with a fire axe age 15 onstage at my school hall. Didn't do too well at school as I thought I would leave and become a rock star. I didn't. Spent many years moving in ever decreasing circles on London's toilet circuit till dealing with too many egos finally split the band(s). Now I just deal with one ego. Welcome to LORD NUMB'S BEAUTIFUL. Lord Numb is one half of revered DJ duo THE REJECT CLUB, the other half being SPIDERSLEG. They play regularly in Holland and at various select venues in Olde Lahndan Tahn, init?. Lord Numb has been supplying electricity for the Monkey Machine since the glorious death of all music. He favours the guitar and synthesizer above all else. Everyone sing - " I love Rock'n'Roll, put another dime in the juke box baby"......

HK 119 - MIND
http://www.myspace.com/hk119
http://www.hk119.co.uk/
HK 119 is the solo project of Heidi Kilpelainen, a Finnish-born multitalented writer-singer-producer and visual arts graduate of London’s St Martin’s College…as Björk once stated in Q Magazine “the perfect blond woman” when selecting HK119 as her favorite artist of the year. Drawing influence from early David Bowie and Kraftwerk among myriad others, ‘Fast Cheap & Out Of Control’ is a tongue-in-cheek warning of sorts, issued in the common language of pop music and featuring the production talents of Dean Honer and Jarrod Gosling of I Monster/ All seeing I (pictured in the slideshow) and Simon Duffy (Leftfield engineer). The Lucas-inspired name HK119 is itself a product code – an attempt to bring awareness to the contradictions of our society and the increasing alienation of modern man. With this, her second album, she touches upon contemporary themes such as space travel, celebrity culture, cloning, surveillance, global warming, mind control, deviant technology, and other such light hearted issues… However, to dwell too much on these is to miss the point; the resultant product is an album of uncompromising, thought-provoking futuro-pop which pleases and disturbs in equal measure, from the dark but joyous swing of ‘Tropikalia’ and the anxious rumble of ‘What Am I’ to the instantly accessible pop of album opener ‘Mind’ and first single ‘C’est La Vie’. The fact that such heady subjects combine in an album that remains cohesive and enjoyable is testament to Kilpelainen’s talent as a true artist. Striking in attire and fascinated by the concepts of modernism and the possibilities of what can be seen as but a merely trashy medium, HK119 is a wilfully unique star for our far-flung times, and one that demands immediate investigation.

LEAETHER STRIP (REMIXED BY LOUIS GUIDONE) - GENETIC FUCKUP
http://www.myspace.com/leaetherstrip
http://www.alfa-matrix.com

LEAETHER STRIP is the solo-project of Danish electronic industrial artist Claus Larsen. Discovered by the German techno artist and producer Talla 2XLC, LEAETHER STRIP quickly built a buzz as one of the most exciting emerging acts in Europe in the early 90's.
After a very successful Japanese Bodies 12, the debut album (The Pleasure of Penetration released in 1990) instantly established itself as a classic, featuring a punishing rhythm pace and aggressive electronic style with distorted vocals that he has since become renown for and that is often described as LEAETHER STRIPs trademark. The following albums and MCDs allowed LEAETHER STRIP to conquer the hearts of hundreds of thousands of fans of electronic industrial music across the world and to become one of the leading acts on the cult Zoth Ommog label. Both Solitary Confinement (1992) and Underneath The Laughter (1993) albums helped Claus Larsen establishing his position on the music map, reaching top sales in both the European and American electro scenes. While reminding the powerful angst seen in other electro acts such as FRONT 242, SKINNY PUPPY or even NINE INCH NAILS, LEAETHER STRIP rapidly got the reputation to be carrying a deeper message and meaning in his work through his very personal intense music and the sometimes emotional, sometimes political dimension of his lyrics.
With Serenade for the Dead (1994) LEAETHER STRIP shook the foundations of the industrial scene by surprise, radically departing from past expectations, drifting away from his trademark harsh power sound towards a more orchestral / gothic sound we would later refer to as symphonic dark electronics. Conceived as a soundtrack piece, this beautiful album showed a completely different side of Claus Larsens talent and proved that LEAETHER STRIP was able to take the challenge of redefining his sound while still offering the same song writing depth and force. A milestone in his discography that took the path of a more versatile musical approach that highlighted his diversity in rhyme and his masterful crafting in song writing.
Fears of seeing Claus Larsen express his inner torments only through his turbo-driven side-project KLUTE, while letting LEAETHER STRIP fade from its roots, were rapidly gone with the release of the follow-up albums Legacy Of Hate And Lust (1995) and The Rebirth Of Agony (1996).
His last album to date, Self-Inflicted released in 1997, continued the LEAETHER STRIP sound tradition, revealing a full return to the Claus Larsen sound of old, while being in many ways more diverse than anything he's done before, allying solidity and confidence; and being still today described as his best effort to date. The sound and vocal diversity being emphasised by a forced upgrade of Claus home studio after a devastating flood.
A few months later LEAETHER STRIP paid homage to SOFT CELL with the release of the Anal Cabaret ep which allowed many journalists to acknowledge that The guy can actually sing, which is pretty unusual in the EBM genre, where volume and distortion can make up for a lot of vocal inadequacies.
Besides a bunch of best of, demo collections and other remix albums, it was at the turn of the millennium that LEAETHER STRIP released his last 7-track single to date Carry Me (2000).
2005 marks the official return for LEAETHER STRIP...

Louis Guidone started experimenting with music at 17 back in 1990 on an eclectic assortment of samplers, tape decks, effects, synths, drum machines, and so on. He now makes music on his computer. Although music was an on again off again thing for a while, things got very serious in 2006 when remixing went on the back burner (despite increasing requests for his skills) and creation of original compositions dominated the bulk of his time.
His first album “I Go On With My Life” was launched on Snocap 8/02/08 and is also available on CD-R through his website.
He had so much fun covering some of his favorite Depeche Mode songs for the Modeified project (he contributed Photographic, Fools, and Ice Machine to Modeified 7) that he decided to make more and release his own Depeche Mode and Recoil tribute entitled “Destruction Time Again” on September 1st, 2008.
He has remixed many artists, but most noticeable are his remixes of Information Society which appears on their website, Slayer which has been played at Contempt NYC, PTYL which included him on the download version of LOKI:God Of Change:The Remix Album, Diverje who will put his work on an upcoming remix cd, Leather Strip who he has been a fan of from day one, and many more.

I am Geoff from Dublin Ireland . My interests lie in Electronic & Instrumental music... After last year completing sound engineering to City & Guilds I decided to explore more into the musical side of creation. Music always stirred up very deep images for me all through my younger years, after playing some piano / keyborad & trying out new software my interests grew even more. I went on to do Electronic music production in the Dublin Temple bar sound centre. This introduced me to Reason, Cubase + Sound Forge programs. This opened up lots more avenues to look into & with the help of friends with similar interests (Conrad Gibbons, Chris Newman, Rosie Gibbons, David Fox, Tara Woolridge & Fon) .... With Tara & Fon I started to take on the guitar & since then I have tried to merge the electronics & acoustics together. So what you hear on my music profile page is just the start of that developing journey .... As time goes on I strive to improve. So this is just a brief outline of where I come from .... UPDATE: 11/8/08 DIGITAL FIELDS by ELECTROCELT Latest happenings is that I have just finished my first Album Called "DIGITAL FIELDS" after sometime of putting together pieces of music in my home studio getting them played on the TDFZ radio show ,I was asked if I would like to make a full album of them . The story goes that while driving my Taxi around the streets of Dublin I pick up Sean Mcloud. While playing the track "Digital Fields" on my cd player @ low volume .Sean asks is that some new artist playing I explain no that is me @ home . Sean asks have you done anything with this music . My reply is no should I . Sean says 'yes I like it , it's different from the usual stuff you hear'. This is my first meeting with Sean which leads me to finishing out Level 1 & 2 city & Guilds in sound Engineering & Music Technology. One Of the Projects on this course was to record a band to show that I could use the Equipment . I had no one to record so I record with the help in organising some sturucture to this piece with Tara my guitar teacher & together withTara & Fon we record "Silverlining" the piece you hear on my music player. After the passing of days & a bit of mixing the lads Sean & Robert ask if I have more of this stuff around . So then I set about a month long recording session which I think was a real labour of love but we get there . Sean does a rough mix with Robert doing a final mix ...And so we wait for return of the master mix now ......... Geoff ( Electrocelt) LASTEST NEWS IS I"M PART TIME IN SONIC EYE MEDIA DOING CITY & GUILDS PART 1 & 2 DIPOLMA should have that completed in September.
J O N T E K N I K - 21st CENTURY RADIO STATION

ROBO CAST RADIO can highly recommend the new critically acclaimed Jonteknik album - 'Sounds from the Electronic Garden'. 14 tracks of electronic pleasure.
This and various other CD's are available from the J O N T E K N I K shop.
Gaining respect from the press, such as Melody maker, Future music, Music Technology, MT and The Mix, Jonteknik was crafting his own sound around the heavy influences of those great pioneers from Düsseldorf. It was soon discovered by the world's coolest Belgian and writer/producer Pascal Gabriel who helped Jonteknik sharpen production skills. Pascal introduced Jonteknik to Claudia Brücken. They both corresponded by post. A simple demo was recorded around 1993 called 'Ohm from ohm'.
Jonteknik also had the pleasure of meeting up with Holly Johnson in the mid 1990's. A few ideas were put together and there was a lot of music chat. Holly showed Jonteknik that songs worked with the right structure. An acoustic performance of 'Relax' and 'Love train' demonstrated this exactly!
More recently Jonteknik worked with Paul Humphreys and Claudia Brücken on their 'Onetwo' project. Jonteknik co-wrote and co-produced several tracks and even dabbled with lyrics. One of the highlights for Jon was getting to program percussion and synths on a track that has Martin Gore from Depeche Mode on guitar! It was a hard time for Jon as issues beyond his control were making life complicated. To this day Jon holds the times of working with Paul Humphreys as a great memory, especially creating 'The theory of everything'.

THE LOVED ONE - FURTHER OBSERVATIONS

http://www.myspace.com/metametaphon
Band members are Dryden Hawkins and Zeb Yek. Creating a unique brand of experimental music from the late 70's, but not a lot of people seem to know The Loved One.
"Further Observations" the second album by The Loved One will be released soon. Watch these spaces!
ROBOs first taste of 'The Loved One' came from the 1981 compilation release 'The Some Bizarre' album. The album that helped to launch the likes of Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Blancmange and The The. A new version of this album is due out now!! and a double CD version is out on 28th July!!
The back catalogue from 'The Loved On' is being re-mastered for a rolling release in 2009.
ADDITIONAL SELECTED INFORMATION
"THE DEAL" was the first track recorded by THE LOVED ONE in 1978. It opened the album "An Example of the Species . . ." , it is also the first track that I have remastered.
"THE DEPRESSIONISTS" recorded 1982. A 'live' favorite! From the 1982 album "....Further Observations".
"WALKING THE WEIR" recorded 1996 . Number 2 in a set of 3. From the forthcoming album "SET"
"ADVANCE" recorded 1980. From the 1982 album "......Further Observations". A Zeitgeist that has lasted years.
"EVERY BEST GIFT" recorded 2004-7. From the forthcoming album "SET". The fourth version of a two and a half minute Requiem.
"A DIET OF NITROGLYCERINE" recorded 1983-5. From the 1985 album "Locate and Cement". A cautionary nursery rhyme from a stable lad of the Apocalypse! I am told that this track spawned a more famous, yet diluted homage.
"RADIO FANTAZIA No. 3" is number three in a collection of eight Radio Fantazias of which there are nine! Recorded in 1988 it is taken from the 1994 album ‘The Radio Fantazias’ by The Loved One. An animation to accompany Radio Fantazia No. 3 has been completed by Pema Wangye and can be seen at http://www.animook.com/namook/gh.php
During 2003 - 2005 I worked on two films of animated paintings and sketches by the Artist Aldous Eveliegh; "A short stretch of the Thames" and "Aldous in London". In 2008 I have been working on a series of films set in Istanbul featuring the paintings by Aldous Eveleigh, one short animation - "Aldous in Istanbul" is now posted online for viewing. All of the films can be seen online at http://www.animook.com/namook/gh.php

Biography
In the year 2002, Synth Operator Christian V encounters PX-200, Synth Operator and 303 Programmer. Both are regular visitors to Synthetic, in cyberspace and in real life. A search through their musical archives shows them to be on a parallel wavelength, and construction soon begins on the first Neuvogue output, Synchronised Emotion. Creation progresses with Birth Machine, Gilt Complex and Futurist Manifesto, until Neuvogue is three, with Oliver Prime as first Vocaliser. Random Number Generator, Robot Building and Androgynetic are processed and the first sightings of Neuvogue ensue, reaching an apex when a sighting is televised in 2003. Prime malfunctions, but is soon replaced. Neon Strobelight [an improved model of Vocaliser] is assimilated in 2004, providing the final elements and Neuvogue enters a new phase, a unification of synthetic waves and dramatic vocals. Remodelling of the output begins and construction intensifies on the first totally new output, Film. The Manifesto is finally recorded and new sightings are foreseen...
[We-Are-Neu-Vogue]

Kicking off with futurepop epic Skinned Alive, the new CD showcases the band's electronic versatility. With title track Androgynetic, there's a seething slice of synthpunk, while the soaring, analogue-infused anthem Synth City rounds things off. The CD, Androgynetic, is available to buy online (CLICK ON THE IMAGES ABOVE) priced at £3.00 plus 50p P&P (they ship to anyone in the UK).
